OLIVO, the same spirit for a different ownership

Hélène OLIVO transfers her company to her General Manager, Pascal Sénéclauze, who has been working by her side for 8 years.

OLIVO is the specialist in designing and manufacturing logistics solutions for the cold chain. These solutions have been implemented by leading food retail groups, as well as pharmaceutical, technological or logistics industries.

Created in 1956 by Jean OLIVO, the eponymous company developed a cutting-edge technology in insulation and mastering of cryogenic and eutectic cold devices.

OLIVO plant in Roche la Molière (near Saint-Etienne, Loire – France) shelters the manufacturing of insulated containers used in food distribution for convenience stores but also for last-mile logistics, healthcare or highly technological industrial applications.

The local champion makes 60+% of its turnover (€ 8M) from international business and is represented by an office in Singapore.
The MBO takeover is being implemented with the help of two business funds, AXIO Capital and Champion Capital.

The DNA of the new managers is to preserve the corporate culture, and in the meantime to give OLIVO the means to develop faster. In order to meet these challenges, they decided to invest in a brand-new 5,000 Sq.m production site. This new factory will still be located in the city of Roche La Molière and the building permit was registered in July 2019 for a delivery in July 2020.
