OLIVO, the same spirit under new ownership

Hélène OLIVO has transferred her company to her General Manager, Pascal Sénéclauze, who has been working by her side for 8 years.

OLIVO specialises in designing and manufacturing logistics solutions for the cold chain. These solutions are used by leading food retail groups, as well as in the pharmaceutical, technology or logistics sectors.

Created in 1956 by Jean OLIVO, the company that took his name developed cutting-edge insulation technologies and became experts in cryogenics and eutectics for cold sources.

The OLIVO plant in Roche la Molière (near Saint-Etienne, Loire – France) houses the manufacturing operation for insulated containers used in food distribution for convenience stores but also for last-mile logistics, healthcare or high-tech industrial applications.

Exports account for over 60% of this local champion’s turnover (€-8m) and it has a sales office in Singapore.
The MBO is being implemented with the help of two business investment funds, AXIO Capital and Champion Capital.

The company’s DNA is deeply rooted, and the new management intend to preserve the corporate culture, whilst to giving OLIVO the means to develop faster. In order to meet these challenges, they have decided to invest in a brand-new 5,000 sqm production site. The new factory will still be located in Roche La Molière and the building permit application was filed in July 2019 for delivery in July 2020.
