Refrigerated box

We design and manufacture insulated BAC and BOX refrigerated boxes for transporting heat-sensitive products.

We offer a complete range of solutions, from insulated vehicles to passive refrigeration solutions, to meet the challenges of maintaining positive, negative or ambient temperatures.

What is a refrigerated crate?

It’s a container with a high isothermal value capable of maintaining a positive, negative or ambient temperature, depending on the desired duration (up to 24 hours or more). Several sizes are available to suit all types of commercial vehicle, large or small, from stackable boxes to large roll-on roll-off containers.

Unlike a refrigerated lorry, the refrigerated box operates autonomously without ventilation, using natural convection produced by the eutectic plates or cryogenic cold obtained from carbon dioxide that has already been recycled and used again as a refrigerant.

A more economical and environmentally friendly way of transporting perishable foodstuffs or health products in complete safety, without the risk of breaking the cold chain.

What are the advantages of refrigerated boxes?

Isothermal containers used in the food, chemical and health sectors

This model of refrigerated swap body is available in a wide range of sizes, with a useful volume varying from 25 to 600 litres, on feet or castors. A real ally for your cold logistics, this mobile refrigerated box can be stacked, and can also be handled with a forklift truck for larger volumes. It does not require an electric refrigeration unit and can be fitted to any type of vehicle.

Refrigerated containers for the food industry, catering and mass catering

Our isothermal BACs are designed to maintain the cold chain despite numerous load breaks, sometimes long transit times and waiting times at the quay before loading onto the truck. This refrigerated crate offers a host of advantages:

  1. Maintain your target temperature for a set period of time, whatever your logistical constraints, thanks to your refrigerated box:
    • Waiting times in the preparation area or on the loading bay,
    • Load breaks,
    • Temperature pooling
  2. Use of a standard vehicle without an electric refrigeration unit (van body or car body – prices on request).

Health refrigerated crate

Vaccines, insulins, labile blood products, biotechnology products, tissues, organs – all these heat-sensitive and heat-labile products are subject to strict transport and cold chain regulations. The health refrigerated box is the solution you need.

In line with the Guide to Good Distribution Practice, our BACs enable you to transport your healthcare products in complete safety, avoiding losses and non-conformities. Whatever your temperature range, +2°C/+8°C, -20°C, +15°C/+25°C, -80°C, our isothermal technology and dedicated cold solution preserve your cold chain and contribute to the success of your drug or organic transfer operations. Made from rotomoulded PE, this model of isothermal refrigerated box is easy to maintain, disinfect and clean (Price on request, it works without an electric refrigeration unit and is suitable for all types of vehicle).

BOX isotherm used in last-mile logistics

The BOX isothermal refrigerated box is suitable for transporting small volumes of between 34 and 60 litres. Ergonomic, lightweight, strong and easy to handle, it is also environmentally friendly, being made from 100% recyclable PPE. Compatible with food contact, the refrigerated box can be sterilised after use.

The last mile includes home deliveries, drive-throughs, short distribution channels and consumer collection points. Our range of refrigerated boxes respects the cold chain when transporting perishable foodstuffs.

Who are the users of last-mile logistics?

What are their selection criteria for transporting food products?

The refrigerated box must be easy to handle, stackable and lightweight, because deliveries are sometimes made over several floors without lifts. Isothermal performance must be guaranteed (prices on request). It does not require an electric refrigeration unit and can be adapted to any type of vehicle.
